She founded Equs Film, where she developed a ‘profit for purpose’ model, producing commercial content , while reinvesting profits into supporting emerging filmmakers. Muriël oversees numerous short films and commercial productions, creating a unique ecosystem that offers new talent opportunities in the industry while focussing on creating content that is social, sustainable, and impactful.

Daniel is a very experienced creative director with a talent for scouting brand problems and providing creative yet practical solutions. Daniel has been in advertising since 2004 and has worked for big agencies and also did interim work for agencies like Dawn, Dept, Cheil, Ace and Dentsu. His out-of-the-box ideas make sure that your brand story is heard loud and clear.

Laura is an experienced strategist with a demonstrated international growth track record in different industries. She is passionate about building and growing brands that touch the hearts and minds of consumers and customers. Always bringing clarity on the critical behavior change for growth.

Ankie Stoutjesdijk, a Royal Academy of Art graduate, creates designs that captivate and engage. Every detail—from color to texture—is crafted to tell your story in layers, sparking conversation and discovery with every look.

Samuel, a creative producer with a passion, is a master of the creative process with a love for for storytelling and innovative media projects. As a graduate of Utrecht University of the Arts (HKU), with a bachelor in Arts & Economics, he specializes in concept development, production, and bringing creative visions to life. Having years experience working for companies like ID&T, Q-dance, Mysteryland and Universal Music he has a strong network in the creative industry. With a keen eye for detail he thrives in dynamic and collaborative environments.

Jonathan is a seasoned director and writer with over 25 years of experience in commercials, films, game cinematics, music videos, and documentaries. As cinematics director at Guerrilla Games, Jonathan worked on PlayStation titles like Killzone 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and The Frozen Wilds DLC. This experience honed his skills in Hollywood-level pre-visualization, editing, and directing motion capture performances. Jonathan creates impactful commercials and short films, bringing a shared passion for storytelling to every project.

Discovered through the EQUS Short Film Foundation, Betina Savova is a rising talent at EQUS Film. As a Junior Account Manager, she excels in building client relationships, streamlining workflows, and ensuring seamless project delivery. With her strong organizational skills and creative problem-solving, Betina thrives in fast-paced environments, uniting teams to deliver impactful results.

Tim is a versatile and innovative video producer who turns ideas into captivating visual stories. With experience across online, TV, and corporate video, he blends creativity and technical expertise to deliver seamless productions. Whether crafting unique angles, shaping original scripts, or bringing fresh concepts to life, Tim always has a clear vision and a plan to make it happen.

Femke quickly entered the television industry after studying Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. She worked for years as a researcher for producers Martin Simek and Rik Felderhof. With a passion for the charitable sector, Femke provides communication advice and creates film productions with dedication and enthusiasm. Sometimes she handles projects from A to Z, and sometimes she works as part of a team, such as when she serves as the lead editor or set videographer for various Equs productions.

Bas is an experienced video editor with a passion for storytelling and a sharp eye for detail. With 15 years in the industry, he has worked on a wide range of productions, from online content to broadcast and documentaries. Bas thrives on crafting compelling narratives and finding creative solutions to enhance every story. His expertise ensures that every project is both visually engaging and content-driven.

Lisa S. Ruseler is a driven, energetic production professional known for her organizational skills and hands-on approach. With expertise in both creative and financial aspects of production, she ensures project success from start to finish. Rooted in Arts & Economics from the School of the Arts Utrecht (HKU), Lisa’s career was shaped by an internship at a video and stills production company in Cape Town SA and founding an art-cycle route to connect communities, farmers, and artists for a sustainable future. Another of Equs Short Film Foundation’s finds, she produced the short film Boezemkring, showcasing her dedication to impactful storytelling.

Joyce has a background in the hospitality and tourism sectors and has a passion for solving puzzles. She is a trusted accountant and has been involved in accounting and tax filings for various businesses since 2005. For several years now, she has also been handling this for Equs Film. She is responsible for recording all income and expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that tax returns are submitted on time.
